Its M1 classification allows it to be suited to several environments where fire safety is a key element : heating, air-conditioning, public places…
The SE25M1-PU is a polyurethane-based foam that has a high soundproof power (especially in high frequencies). Produced in 1,500x1,000 mm plates, this foam can also be delivered in 30 metre rolls (width 1,500 mm).
Generally used when fire classification and flexibility are particularly requested, this foam can be cut easily by the means of a Stanley knife or a simple blade and it can be glued by using neoprene glue (no fire classification). It can be used in an efficient way to soundproof industrial machines, walls, engines, machines etc...
Remember that in some cases, noise nuisance produced by a machine or an engine could be reduced by installing rubber suspensions, metal suspensions, air suspensions or Gripsol dampening plates (for further information, please refer to our antivibratory range).
