All Our Acoustic Panels

Acoustic panels for sound insulation

For many years, Solutions Elastomeres has been supporting professionals and private individuals with their acoustic treatment projects through a wide range of solutions suited to different environments.

Acoustic panels include materials designed to improve the sound comfort of a space or reduce noise generated by equipment such as machinery, pumps or compressors. They are available in practical formats, up to 2000 x 1500 mm, to make installation easier.

Most of these solutions are based on cellular materials, particularly acoustic foam panels, whose structure effectively absorbs sound waves. The most common are polyurethane foams, available with a flat or alveolar egg-crate profile. Other materials such as rubber, polyethylene and melamine complete the range to meet different requirements, including humidity resistance, rigidity and fire-rated applications.

Why choose our sound insulation panels?

The benefits of sound insulation

Sound insulation helps reduce noise, improve acoustic comfort and make spaces more pleasant to live or work in every day. Depending on the product selected, it can also help reduce reverberation, improve speech intelligibility and create a quieter environment.

Our acoustic panels and sheets are available in a variety of dimensions, thicknesses, finishes, colours and options to meet different requirements. This wide choice allows every customer to find a solution suited to their application, budget and project constraints.

Applications of acoustic panels

Our solutions are suitable for many environments:

• acoustic treatment of offices,
• solutions for restaurants,
• sound insulation for walls and ceilings,
• machine noise reduction.

We also offer more decorative solutions for public spaces and working environments. Discover our range of decorative acoustic panels, as well as products such as SE50CLOUD and SE40M1-PET, which are particularly suitable for improving room acoustics while maintaining a high-quality finish.

These products are particularly suitable for bars, restaurants and professional spaces where noise can quickly become uncomfortable for both customers and staff. Most of our foams and panels are available from stock and, for reasonable quantities, we offer fast dispatch within 48 to 72 hours to help you address your noise problem quickly.

Types of acoustic panels available

Polyurethane foam panels

Polyurethane foam panels are among the most widely used solutions for acoustic treatment. Available in several thicknesses and formats, they provide good sound absorption and are suitable for a wide range of applications. They are available with flat, alveolar or profiled surfaces depending on the required performance and desired appearance.

Melamine foam panels

Melamine foam panels are valued for their lightweight construction and acoustic performance. They are particularly suitable for environments requiring an efficient solution that is visually clean and easy to integrate into an indoor space.

Rubber foam panels and other technical materials

Depending on the project requirements, other solutions may be considered, including rubber foam, polyethylene and composite material panels. The choice will depend on the type of noise to be treated, the environment, the required dimensions and thickness, and the desired options.

How can noise nuisance be reduced effectively?

To achieve lasting improvements in acoustic comfort, it is important to choose the right panel or sheet for the application. The choice mainly depends on the nature of the noise, the environment, the surface area to be treated and the required level of performance.

Thanks to the wide variety of products in our range, effective results can be achieved in industrial environments as well as offices, commercial premises and decorative spaces. Each product page allows you to compare the characteristics, dimensions, thicknesses, available options and prices of the different references.

How to install your sound insulation panels

Tips for optimal installation

To achieve good performance, acoustic panels should be installed on a clean, dry and suitable surface. Their position should be selected according to the noise source, reflective surfaces and the desired result. Correctly distributing panels across walls, ceilings or technical areas can significantly improve acoustic performance.

The choice of thickness and dimensions also has a direct impact on sound absorption. Where higher performance is required, thicker solutions or products specifically designed for the intended application may be more appropriate.

Mistakes to avoid during installation

It is best to avoid concentrating all the panels in the same area, overlooking key surfaces or selecting a product that is unsuitable for the environment. A foam designed for standard indoor use will not necessarily meet the same requirements as a product intended for a damp, dusty or technically demanding environment.

You should also avoid choosing a thickness that is too low for the level of noise being treated. Making the right choice from the outset improves effectiveness, reduces installation time and helps ensure customer satisfaction.

What is an acoustic panel?

An acoustic panel is a product designed to absorb or reduce noise nuisance within a given space. It can be made from foam, rubber, polyurethane, melamine or other materials selected for their acoustic properties.

These panels are used in many environments, including offices, restaurants, studios, music rooms, schools and industrial facilities. Installed on walls, ceilings or technical structures, they help reduce reverberation, limit echoes and improve overall acoustic comfort.

Water-resistant acoustic panels: durable solutions

Some panels are specifically designed to withstand demanding environments thanks to their water-resistant properties.

• SE25-COMPOSITE foam and SE50AL-SM alveolar foam feature a waterproof protective film on the surface,
• SE552 rubber foam is waterproof throughout its structure.

These solutions are particularly suitable for humid or dusty environments while providing good long-term durability.

FAQ about sound insulation

What thickness should I choose for optimal sound insulation?

The appropriate thickness depends on the type of noise, the surface to be treated and the required level of absorption. As a general rule, greater thickness can provide better acoustic performance, particularly at certain frequencies. The right choice therefore depends on the application and the desired result.

Are acoustic panels environmentally friendly?

This depends on the material selected. Some solutions focus primarily on technical performance, while others may meet aesthetic requirements or specific expectations regarding product composition. The most important factor is to choose a product suited to your application, constraints and acoustic objectives.
