An electrical cabinet is a large metal or plastic enclosure designed to bring together the electrical network of an installation in one central point. Its role is to collect electrical power and redistribute it safely, while protecting the electrical installation. An electrical panel has the same function as an electrical cabinet, but it is not designed to manage very large installations without putting them at risk. Electrical enclosures are used in commercial and industrial sectors, directly on construction sites or in technical rooms such as boiler rooms or lift machinery rooms.
