Gripsol Purple 20: high-damping anti-vibration support
The Gripsol Purple 20 is a vibration-damping support designed to reduce the transmission of mechanical vibrations to floors and surrounding structures.
This 20 mm thick anti-vibration pad offers damping properties and is listed in several sizes, allowing the contact area to be adapted to different installation configurations.
Gripsol Purple 20 is listed in 50 × 50 mm, 250 × 250 mm and 500 × 500 mm formats. These dimensions provide several options, subject to checking the load limits and installation conditions applicable to each size.
Before choosing a format, the mechanical stresses, operating frequencies, load distribution and actual operating environment must be assessed.

Three sizes for different support points
50 × 50 × 20 mm: small pad for a limited support area, subject to load compatibility.
250 × 250 × 20 mm: intermediate format for installations requiring a larger contact area.
500 × 500 × 20 mm: larger format that can be considered for adaptation to the installation dimensions.
Load specifications must not be extrapolated between sizes. Check the available product options and the technical data for each reference.
Important: sizing and installation conditions
The load per support point, dynamic forces and possible exposure to oils, solvents or cleaning products must be assessed before selecting a support.

Applications of Gripsol Purple 20
Thanks to its different sizes, Gripsol Purple 20 can be considered for installations requiring reduced vibration transmission, after assessing the mechanical requirements.
- Technical equipment: isolating vibrations transmitted to supporting surfaces.
- Precision instruments: a potential solution for reducing the effects of surrounding vibrations.
- Mechanical assemblies: damping vibrations according to the applied loads and operating frequencies.
- Equipment with multiple support points: selecting suitable dimensions based on actual load distribution.
How to install Gripsol Purple 20?
The format must be selected according to the installation requirements and the necessary contact area beneath each support point.
1. Calculate the load per support point
Determine the equipment weight, how it is distributed between supports and the forces generated during operation.
2. Choose the appropriate size
Select the required format from the available options. For additional cutting, check the remaining support area and applicable recommendations.
3. Position the supports
Prepare the supporting surfaces and follow the fitting instructions corresponding to the supplied reference. Check the stability of the assembly before use.

Other solutions for industrial vibration isolation
Other technologies may be considered when the load or operating conditions require a different solution.
SE120 metal anti-vibration mounts
Our SE120 circular anti-vibration mounts, made from stainless steel wire, provide an alternative for certain technical applications.
They can be considered where mechanical, thermal or chemical conditions call for a different suspension type, subject to proper sizing.
Our range of rubber anti-vibration mounts offers other options to compare according to your installation requirements.
