Gripsol Red 15: anti-vibration pad for industrial machinery
The Gripsol Red 15 is a self-gripping vibration-damping pad designed to reduce the transmission of mechanical vibrations to floors and surrounding structures.
This SBR elastomer anti-vibration pad is particularly suitable for medium-weight industrial machinery generating high-amplitude vibrations, including machines with linear or rotating movements.
Its 15 mm thickness and damping properties make it suitable for a wide range of industrial installations, provided that the permissible loads are respected.
Gripsol Red is recommended for dry environments, with no oil present beneath the machinery.

Benefits of Gripsol Red 15
Vibration isolation
Reduces vibration transmission to supporting surfaces and surrounding structures.
Easy installation
Self-gripping support that is easy to position beneath machinery, without mechanical fastening where suitable.
Cutting and customisation
Cutting with a utility knife is possible but demanding. Our custom cutting workshop can adapt the pads to your requirements.

Vibration isolation performance depends on the applied load, vibration frequency and correct sizing of the supports.
Important: chemical compatibility
Gripsol Red 15 is intended for dry environments. Its material has limited resistance to mineral, hydraulic and vegetable oils, as well as certain solvents.
For applications involving oil exposure, discover Gripsol Blue 15, subject to compatibility with the fluids concerned.
Applications of Gripsol Red 15
Gripsol Red 15 is recommended for medium-weight industrial machinery operating in dry environments.
- Industrial fans: limiting vibration transmission to the floor.
- Pumps and pumping units: isolating vibrations generated during operation.
- Refrigeration units: reducing vibration transmission to supporting structures.
- Packaging machinery: damping vibrations caused by mechanical movements.
- Lift machinery: isolating equipment and reducing structure-borne vibrations, subject to appropriate sizing.
How to install Gripsol Red 15?
Proper installation begins by calculating the loads and determining the required support area beneath each machine support point.
1. Calculate the load per support point
Determine the machine weight and how it is distributed between the different supports, taking actual operating loads into account.
2. Adjust the dimensions
Determine the required support area according to the permissible load. The pad can then be cut using a sharp, high-quality utility knife. Cutting through the 15 mm thickness can be difficult. Lightly lubricating the blade may make cutting easier, provided that no oil residue is left on the pad.
3. Position the supports
Install the pads according to the installation instructions, then check the stability of the entire assembly before commissioning the equipment.
